Questionnaire and results.
For audience research I created a questionnaire and handed twenty out to members of the public. I gave the questionnaires to a mixed range of ages, genders and ethnicities. The questions had multi choice answers so it was easy to tally up the results and helped my research.
The results showed that more males than females aged 15-21 prefer the genres; Horror (three votes) and Thriller (four votes). The most popular genre for all ages was Comedy which soared with nine votes. Romance got three votes too and Musical one. For my film Intention it is a Drama and Romance, the questionnaire results showed that Drama did not receive any votes, I have chosen this so I can prove to people that Drama is not associated with things such as Downton Abbey.
The majority of people said they visit the cinema twice a month which is good so most people will be able to see my film advertised. Two go to the cinema with their partner, ten visit with friends and two with family.
Everyone selected 'yes' to wanting to see a film more if the actors are attractive and thirteen said 'yes' for if the actors are well known.
I appreciate everyone's participation for the questionnaire and not only am I going to take on board the results and use it to my advantage I also want to introduce something new to the film industry and broaden people's minds to the media.

Film Introduction 9 - Brick
Since changing my ideas I thought about having water at the beginning of the film and wanted to analyse a film that also involves water, such as Brick.
Changing Ideas.
Due to the amount of cast members for the production of 'Insanity' my partner and I have realised we're unable to get everyone we need in the same place at the same time. So, because of this we have decided it's best to reduce our cast and change our idea. Our initial idea was a action-crime genred film. Where the conventional protagonists are against the antagonists in a race to get the important memory card which holds top secret information. Now, we are going for a drama-romance about the troubling relationship between a young girl and boy, comtemplating suicide and slowly travelling down the wrong road. It shows what its like to grow up in this generation with the recession and lack of jobs.
Our filming date is 31/01/2013.

Sam Hoare Audition for James King
Sam Hoare aged 17 auditioned for the main protagonist James King. I thought he was very good and delivered the lines well. Only two takes were needed, he followed direction well. After consideration I have chosen for him to play the character in the upcoming film, Insanity.
